You own every version you receive. Whatever tier you choose, the version you download is yours to keep and use on a licensed site indefinitely, including after your updates lapse.

Continuously developing the theme so it stays compatible with the latest version of Ghost and takes advantage of its newest features is real, ongoing work, with a recurring cost that a single payment cannot cover indefinitely. If another theme advertises "lifetime updates", it is worth reading its terms: in most cases that means the lifetime of that theme's existence, not the lifetime of your project, and updates stop whenever its maker stops maintaining it.

The live demo shows you the design and front-end experience, but not the admin side of running the theme yourself, so there is no functional trial. If the theme is not right for you once you have it, you are covered by the money-back guarantee.

Nothing breaks. You keep your latest version and can use it as long as you like. It stays compatible with Ghost at least until the next major Ghost release: Ghost's policy is to introduce breaking changes only in major versions, not in the minor releases in between, so your version keeps working until the next major one arrives. To carry on receiving updates, purchase another period or move to the Ongoing plan.

If a new major Ghost version is released while your updates are active, you receive the compatible release at no extra cost. If your updates have lapsed, your version is guaranteed to keep working until that next major version; after it, you purchase a further period or subscribe for a compatible release.

No. Keeping the theme reliably powering your site and making the most of Ghost's new features is an ongoing development cost that stays consistent over time, the same as any actively developed software, or your hosting and domain renewals. A further period is the standard price.

Each site keeps working on its installed version, guaranteed compatible until the next major Ghost release. To keep sites receiving updates, you can purchase another Unlimited period covering all your sites, or you or your client can put an individual site on an Ongoing subscription.

It is included with Ongoing. You provide a Ghost Admin application programming interface (API) key for your site and we deliver new versions to it automatically, so you never upload a theme file by hand. It is optional, the key is stored securely and used only for delivering updates, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Every tier includes documentation and an AI support assistant. Ongoing adds human support, with a target response within two business days. Support covers the theme's features, setup, and genuine bugs; it does not include custom development, code changes beyond the theme's built-in options, or your hosting and server setup.

If Neutrino is ever discontinued, we give advance notice, honour existing entitlements, and release the source code under an open-source licence so it can continue to be used and maintained by the community. You also keep your version, as always.

The standard licences do not cover redistributing the theme or building it into a product or platform supplied to end users. If you have a use-case like that, contact support@aboutblank.studio and we can discuss it.

Each tier is a separate purchase and we do not transfer credit between them. If you need a different tier, buy the one that fits.

Any self-hosted Ghost site works. On Ghost(Pro), uploading a custom theme requires the Publisher plan or higher; the Starter plan cannot install custom themes.

Prices are in United States dollars. Any applicable value-added tax or sales tax is calculated at checkout.
